A Fowey favourite, everyone loves the atmosphere in Sam’s – the music is loud, no bookings taken, turn up and drink at the bar until a table becomes available! Recently refurbished and expanded – check out the funky cocktail bar upstairs!
Since 2005 Ben Bass has gone from strength to strength at the restaurant ‘Q’, the Old Quay house, located on the Fore street and extending right onto the terrace jutting out into the river. A focus on fish and fine dining in a stunning location.
Glynn Wellington’s Bistro ‘Tiffins’ continues to impress with an ever changing and inventive fine dining menu, right in the Fore street between Sam’s and the Old Quay house. The fixed price menus offer excellent value for money and plenty of interesting choices, in an attractive setting and with great music.
The stunning location and building make dining at Hanson’s a special experience before you even get to the food! Fine dining, with special healthy kids’ menus and childcare facilities.
Martin Billingsley has run his restaurant on the quay for over 30 years in a period building with outside seating in the summer. Fowey’s original fine dining restaurant, still going strong.
An instant success since it’s opening in 2009, right on the beach in nearby Polkerris. Features a huge wood fired Pizza oven and outside tables during the summer, a great place to watch the sun go down into the sea.
Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant, Padstow
The famous seafood restaurant from TV chef Rick Stein in Padstow (some say Padstein!) .
In a dramatic setting overlooking Watergate Bay Beach, surfers and sunsets, the famous training restaurant from Jamie Oliver. Fantastic food in a stunning location, and often running excellent value fixed price menus, it’s worth the trip!
